“I talked to the student today and it went so great!! They prefer pronouns he/him and stated that his family knows…This is exactly the guidance I needed. I so appreciate the example conversations and how to have that discussion..I felt super confident in having that conversation and had I not reached out I probably would have continued to feel nervous and tip toe around it.” - 6th Grade Science Teacher

“I was most fascinated and interested in the laws you were sharing yesterday. Thank you, again. You are an amazing resource!”  - Teacher, Intermediate

“Thank you so much, Lindsey. After our conversation, I am feeling so much more confident and ready to go into my meeting tomorrow! I'm so happy to support my students, both the ones I know about and the ones I don't. Your support means so much!” – Teacher, Elementary

“Working with Lindsey Etheridge to create a campus club that welcomed all students has been a wonderful experience for the students and staff at Willard Intermediate School. What started out as a “Gay/Straight Alliance” has morphed into our “Love, Pride, Equality Club” because these are the values that students crave the most. All students are welcome to join in and the positive energy put forth by this club and their advisors has been amazing!” -

Principal,
Intermediate School, 6th-8th

“It went great today! We had 32 kids come to the meeting. We played some games, talked a little and showed two videos…They already decided we should make a big poster for next week's Valentines dance, and some girls came back to my room to make it. It says "Different means Awesome- a message from GSA" So cute! Thanks again for your help and support.” - Teacher/GSA Advisor,
 Intermediate School, 6th-8th

“The student turn-out has been great! Two weeks ago, we had about 50 students attend. Last week, it was about 35. The students seem to really enjoy it, and Daniel and I have had a great time connecting with students and providing that safe outlet. We started a project…about the phrase "that's gay". Students decided to start filming a PSA commercial/skit that we will play in 1st period classes with skits about using the word "gay" and also the power of words/name calling. They are really excited about it and they will continue writing and start filming the commercial during this week's meeting. It's been a great start to the GSA here at Sierra and we're looking forward to some of these projects being implemented. Thanks again for all your help in getting our GSA started!”
